Children's Shabbat Programming

Every Shabbat during the Torah service, our Children's Shabbat Coordinators deliver an interactive fun program for our children. Children who are below the age of Bar or Bat Mitzvah will enjoy a short service followed by an activity based on the weekly Torah portion.  Music, movement, crafts, games and discussions are integral parts of this program.  The Children’s Shabbat Programming runs from approximately 11:00am to 12:00pm almost every week from September to June.

Friday night services

These services are particularly family-friendly. Check the calendar for dates.

High Holy Days Family Services

We have been very fortunate to have Rabbi Sarra Lev lead our family services at High Holy Days. These are a little shorter and less formal than the "regular" service; but they are every bit as rewarding. And the parents enjoy them too!

Family programming

We love holidays with kids. On Purim, we prepare a children's carnival, and a very different megillah reading. Hannukah gets a party too, of course!

Simchat Torah: Dance with the Torah, then unroll it and take a tour.

Babysitting

Children are welcome to join any service, but some may prefer to go and play! Babysitting for children below 6 is available at all Shabbat and HH services.
